Lake Mary

Located about 12 miles from Flagstaff, Lake Mary offers a beautiful and cool respite from the summer heat of Phoenix. Although there are technically two areas known as Upper and Lower Lake Mary, the upper lake is the largest of the two. The long and narrow reservoir draws locals and visitors to boat, ski, fish and just enjoy the scenery. Pine forests and views of the San Francisco Peaks make for a breathtaking view. Fishermen come for the channel catfish, northern pike, crappie and trout.

Lake Mary Narrows Recreation Area provides excellent access facilities for disabled anglers by means of paved lakeshore
ramps. Two developed campgrounds, Lake View and Pinegrove are nearby. There are two paved boat ramps at the parking area with picnic ramadas, barbeque grills and toilets.

Lake Mary is open May 1 through approximately mid October. Fees are $8 per day per vehicle (up to 5 people.) Walk or bike ins are $1 per person.
