The Navajo Village Heritage Center was established by five Navajo families concerned with protecting the tribal culture and heritage. This traditional homesite features traditional structures indigenous to the Navajo including hogans (dwellings), shade structures, a bread oven and sweat lodge. Visitors are invited to walk through the village at their leisure and there is no charge.
 
Small groups or families can call ahead and arrange a personalized tour with one of the historians who will explain Navajo traditions and the significance of the various structures. Prices for a personal tour vary depending on the group and special requests. The phone number is 928-660-0304.  On some dates, large bus group tours may be touring the facility. Visitors can join one of these pre-arranged tours for a cost of  $35 per adult and experience an in depth tour with weaving demonstrations, dancers and multiple historians.
