Orme Dam Victory Days and Rodeo features a Southwest Indian Rodeo Association sanctioned event. The rodeo includes traditional competitions such as bull riding, saddle bronc, steer wrestling, calf roping and ladies barrel racing. All Around Champion Cowboy and Cowgirl winners earn $2,500 each for their efforts. Competition is open only to Native Americans. In addition to the rodeo, the festivities include a parade, cultural performances, a Yavapai Village, fry bread contest, concerts, a dance and more. 
 
The 2016 event takes place November 16-18, 2018 and most events are free to attend ($5 parking fee.) The venue is at the Orme Dam Rodeo Grounds on Highway 87, just east of Fort McDowell Road.
