Tombstone Rose Tree Festival

Tombstone may be famous for its historic gunfight but it is also home to the world's largest rose bush! Often referred to as the real "shady lady" of Tombstone, the bush was planted in 1885 and covers over 8,000 square feet. More than 300 people can sit in its shade and it is featured in the Guinness Book of Records. The rose bush has been featured in a variety of articles including National Geographic Magazine. Each year, residents and visitors gather to honor this more delicate side of Tombstone's history and celebrate the blooming of the magnificent rose tree.

The annual festival includes a parade, Rose Queen, mariachi music, dancing and other family activities. The 2020 event is scheduled for April 10th - 12th, and admission is free to the public. Come join the fun and bring the family.
